Am I a good person?

This is a great question and as a Christian, Salon owner, and Beauty Pro I see a lot of clients in my chair or on my facial bed etc and we have great Godly chats on the daily and wether we’re talking about Family, Friends, Job or life questions in general I love to direct my Clients and Friends directly to God’s word. as a Christian the Bible is life, is it God himself :

John 1:1 in the beginning was the word, and the word was with God and the word was God.

This Bible is more than a road map or manual for life. It is alive and working Today! Just as it did back then. God’s words exposes our hearts and true intentions, while his words are comforting and nourishing it also can pierce like a sword to the core because God word can convict and make us examine ourselves which is hard to hear and feel.

But because of what Jesus did on the Cross and through faith, repentance and believe in his death, burial, and resurrection we are saved, but you first have to acknowledge  your own sin once you realize that you are a sinner as we all are, and are born with it (a sin nature), then you Can see the need for a savior! Think about it.... if your such a good person and are capable of always choosing the right thing then why would you need a Savior?

Look what God says :

Romans 3:10-12 [10] as it is written, “There is none righteous, not even one; [11] There is none who understands, There is none who seeks for God; [12] All have turned aside, together they have become useless; There is none who does good, There is not even one.”

Wow how powerful so if we are sinful people who do not seek God and do no good how do we come to God?

John 6:44 [44] No one can come to Me unless the Father who sent Me draws him; and I will raise him up on the last day.

So if you are seeking God’s word right now by reading his words in this post and maybe lately you have been looking for answer’s about God or his will for your life then give a good HALLELUJAH !! God is drawing you to him right now!! I know for me personally  knowing God chose me ( a nobody sinful person)and that he draws me to him daily was such a relief in my life.

Think about it… you keep going about life and try to do the right thing all the time and keep falling short. trying to live a so called perfect life. LISTEN WE ALL FALL SHORT!  Even the best of us, so stop trying to be PERFECT or hold yourself up to a idea of what perfect is.

JESUS came and died for our sins God sent his son to pay the price of death so that our sins would be blotted out!! GOD does not expect perfection which is Why he sent him! AMEN

Here is the part that brings tears to my eyes. God knows we can’t achieve perfection, and he has made a way for us to be with him. He offers us eternity through a sacrifice that no human parent would ever want to make. He sacrificed his own son, Jesus, to save us from our sin.

By God’s grace, Jesus’ perfection can be credited to us. All we must do to receive this gift is confess our sin and put our faith in Jesus as our Savior.

John 1:12 says that all who receive Jesus and believe in his name will be given “the right to become children of God.” Those who belong to God live with him forever.

If you want to know what it looks like to be a good person with a right to heaven, study the life of Jesus in Scripture. When you read the Bible, you will discover God’s perfect Son, the only one who can make us “good enough” to be accepted by God. You will see Jesus do for others what they could never do for themselves. You will see Jesus lead others to give up their pursuit of “earning” their way into heaven. You will find that Jesus calls sinful people to follow him, and he lovingly invites them to rest in his perfection. This kind of rest can be yours today, too!

Remember God changed broken, sinners and used them for his glory

You are worthy

If you ever feel like you aren’t worthy enough to be used by God, let alone loved by him, just remember that Jesus used a bunch of flawed people to share Hope to a flawed and broken world. In God, we find renewal, mending, and purpose. Jesus didn’t call the equipped, He equipped the called!

I want to end this in prayer

Teach us your ways and let us grow in the knowledge of your word and give us the strength to share your good news.
